Never trust Pick n' Pay to deliver what you pay for
This inquiry refers to the second time I ordered from PnP and the driver did not deliver all the items I had paid for, as stated on the PnP delivery note. I phoned PnP's contact center within 5 minutes of the driver leaving and she said she will contact the driver and send the 3 missing items that same day or arrange a refund.
I had to order the missing items from Woolworths when PnP did not deliver, which incurred another delivery fee.
Allow me to explain my situation: your driver arrives and unpacks the order, with the help of my security guard who watches from the door. The driver shows me where to sign and I do my best. I am blind in the right eye and have less than 28% sight in the left (macular degeneration).
When the driver leaves, I use a magnifying glass to tick off the list as I pack the order away. This is slow going. The driver is always in a hurry and I do not check the items while he is here as it would take much longer.
PnP is either a) making mistakes in packing or b) someone is *****ing these items.
(I have NOT had this issue with Woolworths.)
PnP emailed a week ago that someone will be in contact "shortly". I am still waiting. I feel obliged to warn others of the situation in order to ensure no one else falls victim to this.

It is a shame that one has to complain on a public platform before matters are attended to. I will not shop at Pick and Pay in future.
