Negligence of Food Safety
I bought tripe just now and when I got home, its rotten. It smells bad. I had to throw it away. That basically throwing R30 into the dust bin in this economy.
This is pure disregard and negligence of Food Safety. The person who cooked that tripe was 100% aware that its off. The person who served me that tripe was also 100% aware that its off but n9 one cares. Its profits before safety.

08 Sept 2025, 18:25Its unbelievable that I am expected to return Pick n Pay to return the rotten tripe. I threw the food in the bin outside immediately because the smell was unbearable and Secondly if the standard was on par, I wouldn't have to drive back forth to exchange food. All you have to do is to serve appropriate food and thats it. That's not a big ask, its what is expected.
I do not work at Pick n Pay and that means I do not have time to go to Pick n Pay twice a day. Sell food that meets standard instead of telling me to return rotten food. Now I should go to communal bin and dig your rotten food.
