MR RAYMOND ACKERMAN DIES, SO DOES HIS BUSINESS!
This post does not even deserve a star.
It's sad that it's not even a month since Mr Raymond Ackerman has passed away and already we seeing and feeling the changes in the stores. My dad went to Pick n Pay Midrand Boulders to buy cigarettes which he believes that only pick n Pay sell original cigarettes. That's how loyal my dad is. Anyways he gets to the cigarette counter and there is a long line. He than asks the assistant store manager apperantly her name is Mapula that could he be assisted as he is only buying cigarettes and cannot be waiting with people who are paying for groceries at THE CIGARETTE COUNTER. was my dad not rudely answered by the assistant manager. He just told him to just wait or else leave it and go buy somewhere. My mom than stepped in and asked what the problem as she could see from a distance that these people are arguing and wanted to defuse the situation . My mom is a ex employee of Pick n Pay, a customer service manager for that, whose been working for Pick n Pay for more than 30 years. She was also rudely asked who she is and the matter does not concern her so she should butt out. My mom was so ****ed and disappointed. She knows that one of the values of Pick n Pay is to put customers first. No matter how expensive things were, we stayed loyal till date because we knew how Mr Raymond valued his customer. I wonder if an assistant manager behaves likes this, what about cashier, the packer and the merchandiser. What we really experienced today is beyond SHOCKING and pray that it gets attended to ASAP.
