MOST REDICULOUS AND POOR SERVICE

For anyone who is reading this and you are making use of Pick 'n Pay online shopping and delivery services, please beware:

Pick ‘n Pay online and delivery services (especially in the Sandton-Morningside area) are the most unprofessional, ********* and disgusting people I have ever dealt with. Here is my story:

First I placed my order on the Thursday, 6th of July (no little order - so these guys make their money out of me). Saturday they delivered and the bin with all the frozen goods I ordered weren't there. So I phoned them again on the Monday 10 July, asking them to please advise me when they would be delivering those frozen goods, as I have already paid for it. I was told that they will escalate the case. Wednesday came and still no call. So I phoned in again – because clearly THEY won’t make the effort to keep their customers informed, and was told that they don’t have any feedback for me. I then explicitly asked that they should please ensure that if they deliver, that it is between 18:00 and 19:00 in the evenings, because my hubby and I are working till late and then we have to pick up our child, OR that they just phone me before they pitch so I can make the proper arrangements for someone to at least be there.

Friday, I was at home sick as a dog, and what do you know: 16:00 Pick ‘n Pay delivery showed up on my doorstep. No call, no warning in advance and guess what, two items (that have been paid for) were still missing! Yesterday 17 July 2017 I phoned in again to raise the issue of the missing items. I got through to a Zibile Madiba who promised me that she will arrange for the guys via email to deliver the outstanding goods between 18:00 and 19:00. She also stated that if they respond to the email earlier, she will then phone me to advise me accordingly, otherwise she will tell them to phone me directly. I told her that those were the same promises made to me the previous times and NO ONE phoned me and just pitched. So surprise-surprise, just now – 18 July, while I am at the office I receive a phone call from our guardhouse stating that Pick 'n Pay delivery are here to deliver my goods. What the ****** hell!!!!

So here are my questions and statement: Do you people just not honor promises made to your clients?! Do you simply just not read your dum emails - that is if there ever were any!?! I will NEVER make use of your online services again and I promise you that I will spread the word on how unprofessional you are!!! When phoning your call centre you state that the phone calls are recorded for training and i don't know what other purposes! - Can't be quality - because that should just put you to absolute shame! But hey, if you are true to that statement at least, please go and listen to the calls placed for order no: ********** and tell the poor souls who would choose to work for such a ********* company, to listen to those and make a note that that is NOT how you treat paying customers!!! You are disgusting!

Also a note to Zibile Madiba: Madam you should maybe work on your tone of voice over the phone – especially when you know you are dealing with irate client - and learn not to underestimate a paying customer’s intelligence. I know exactly what you said – bottom line is that what i told you, you guys did to me the last time, you did to me again! So you clearly did nothing about it!! Escalate my ass!
