Moldy Meat?
This weekend I went to do grocery shopping at Pick n' Pay at Brigh****er Commons. In doing my grocery shopping, I purchased a pack of 4 beef burger patties (Pick n' Pay branded).
I took notice that the expiry date was the 12 September.
Yesterday (12 September), I opened the burger patties while preparing dinner and I noticed a mold substance on one of the burger patties. Even though the expiry date was the 12 September, mold should not be appearing on the patties PERIOD. It would be understandable if the patties were not used for weeks on end.
My fiance and I support Pick n' Pay in Brigh****er Commons on a weekly basis and we find the quality of food to be deteriorating. One should never have to open a pack of uncooked meat to find that it is in fact off especially when we followed all of the correct policies to keep the meat in a healthy condition.
