Moldy foods

Begining of christmas i bout 2 tubs of cream to make a christmas trifle, checked expiry date in shop like i always do and it was fine, get home, open the cream, moldy on top, try the other cream, also moldy, i left it thinking its just a once of, begining January, i bought another tub of cream, a diffrent brand, also moldy, last straw was when i bought a tub of cream cheese and opened that which was moldy as well, being now fed up i took photos of cheese and date and sent it to customer care, i heard back from customer care informing me my mail had been past on but a week went by, so i re-emailed them, again i was told they would forward my email to the relevant place, and im still being ignored. with the weather being so hot latley im wondering if proper care is being taken with keeping everything cold? Has any one else complained about buying moldy products?
