Missing Items - No refund = theft

order #*** order placed on the 29th of December 2023, delivered the same day however the lamb shanks were missing in the delivery with feedback given that they were out of stock. In spite of this I was charged for this item, *******ly so IMO, the value of the product on the order was R164.99. If I sell someone a car and they pay me for it but I actually do not have a car to sell to start with I would be responsible for both ***** and theft.

How is it that Woolworths Dash , if they are out of stock of an item, can manage to message you immeadiatly to look for an alternative and if nothing then they do NOT charge you dor what they don ot have, that is proper customer service.

I contacted PnP on the 30th to request a refund and this is where it all fell apart, I was advised on the 3rd of January that a refund of R127.46 was transferred to my credit card used to make the payment, please note that they had no issue debiting my card and I have no idea how they arrived at R127.46.

It is now the 19th of January and nothing has been credited to my account, I have been forced to engage in and endless stream of email correspondence to attempt to resolve this, after every few emails I get the following feedback "your query has been resolved", no it has not. Then they have the audacity to send me this "We'd love to hear what you think of our customer service." I actually do not think that you do want to know what I think of you CS as it does not exist.

In my opinion what Pick and Pay is doing here is ******* and constitutes both ***** and theft. The level of incompetence is astounding and the fact that they really do not care about their customer is what really irritates me. Easy to debit but once a refund is due then rather simply ignore what needs to be done.

A word of advice avoid Pick and Pay ASAP at all costs if you wish to maintain your sanity.

Pick and Pay I need this resolved, I do not care how but I am not jumping through any more hoops I do not care if you deliver the refund to me delivery address in cash, jus get it right.

I reserve all of my rights in this regard and will take all of the steps necessary to recover this money as small as it is, the principle is important.
