Misleading Labeling

We did not eat dinner tonight. On 16th July I bought approximate 1kg of pre-packed beef marketed specifically as for Beef Goulash. I prepared the beef in accordance with the instructions on the cook-in sauce packet. When served I found that not only was the beef so tough as to be completely inedible but almost impossible to cut with good knife. Consequently we could only eat the accompanying vegetables. Tomorrow I intend to return some of the meal to the store and ask the butchery manager to try and eat it himself. No doubt PnP will offer to refund the purchase price but this would be inadequate compensation for the lack of a Sunday dinner and the cost of the other ingredients not to mention the time and effort in preparing the meal and additional cost of the electricity to cook it. I do not know if this meat was supp**** pre-packed by PnP or if the package beef was butchered on site. In either case the product was not fit for purpose. I paid R79.99 a kg and expected this to be of the highest quality as is required for Goulash. I could have bought a cheaper cut and am sure it would have been a lot better than this *******. Don't con the public PnP
