Misleading Advertising

To Whom It May Concern

My husband and I went to Empangeni pick n pay this afternoon to get some stuff. We bought two tubs of Flora Margarine Gold upon seeing the adverti*****t below but when we got to the cashier it scanned normal price and we started what the adverti*****t is written. They called the supervisor upon her arrival she could not assist us. Then the supervisor went to check with the manager who was not around and she paged him ( Malibongwe Hlatswayo) whom we waited for, for more than twenty minutes and he also could not assist us. We were told flora gold is not on special and when we asked what does "assorted" means , we were told it was for regular margarine and medium fat spread.

I would like to have clarity regarding this matter because at one stage they were advertised with a clause that said excluding Flora gold, this time around it was not mentioned. I have pasted the pictures for your reference.

To our understanding, this kind of advertising is misleading customers and with the understanding that we have for assorted, it turned to be a fooling and misleading advertising and also end up putting a challenge on English understanding.

Your soonest response will be highly appreciated. We are still interested in this product that we had went for in the shop.
