Mince sold after Expiry date

I purchased lean mince amonst other things from through Pick n Pay Asap coming from the Canal Walk store.The mince was brownish and when I looked for the Expiry Date it was scratched out.I sent the picture of the mince together with an email. I follow up today ,my airtime my time.Only for an nonchalant apology and that the money for the mince will be refunded.

The frustration and how will I get credibility that this scenario won't happen again.Im so disappointed.
