Manager not dispaying any custormer service.
I m a regular customer at the Sable Square PnP. I have been shopping there since they opened. We also shop at the liquor store from time to time. Yesterday my husband and I cleaned our premises and decided to take our empty beer bottles back to Pick n Pay liquor because we paid a deposit. We have done this once before and were told that we have to spend the money we gat back from our deposit at the Liquor store. This we did not have a problem with. We spoke to a manager by the name of Florida. She was just so rude. We felt belittled because she was shouting at us in front of customers. She told us that we have to buy alcohol to the amount of bottles that we are returning. This is bottles that has been accumulating for a year. In a nut shell.......we would have to pay in over R300 to leave with the amount of bottles we returned.........this to me is a total *******. Nowhere in the store does it say that us as consumers pay a deposit which PICK N PAY NEVER RETURNS. This does not make sense at all. To make it worse ......This Florida lady was shouting at us as if we were stupid and not understanding the rule. I was furious as this is my money that I will never get back. I am a firm believer that" it is not what you say but how you say it ". At this point in time I do not want to be seen holding a PNP packet or entering any PNP.
I would appreciate it if someone can get back to me.
Kind regards.
