Manager doesnt care about selling expired food

Bought a meal from the canteen at Pick n Pay in Winchester green, Gauteng on Saturday.<br> <br> The food was pre-packed into polystyrene plates and shrink wrapped. I trusted that obviously the necessary health precautions were taken as I do frequent this store and have never had any concerns.<br> <br> Unfortunately I got food poisoning, but not begrudging my neighbourhood store I thought it best to just go in and let the manager know.<br> As I start explaining the situation to the manager he immediately cuts me off and asks me if I have a doctor's note to prove that I was really ill. I assured him that I am not trying to gain anything out of this but I do buy from there often so wanted to ensure that I do not get ill again. <br> <br> Then he asks me what I could possibly know about food preparation and I explain that I was a Chef at Fancourt in the banqueting kitchen so know all about it but once again I am just trying to ensure that it will not happen again.<br> <br> He then tells me that I should go shop somewhere else because they have been doing this for years and I clearly have no idea what I am talking about and am making it up
