Manager and merchandising error

Went to Pick'nPay flora centre, took an item as displayed on the shelf and when I reached the paypoint, I was told a different price, the cashier called Issac, the store manager to double check the price. The teller then accompanied me back to the shelf to verify and she found that the price was correct, Isaac decided to remind me that I must learn to read bar codes as they are different. He didn't see anything wrong with false advertising/Pricing or the fact that the merchandiser in their shop listed the wrong prices.....

He made me feel like I'm stupid and blaming me for buying item with the price advertised with. Can such manager be sent back to management and Customer satisfaction school cause he definitely got it all wrong
