Maggots found in Oats

Purchased some groceries via the pick n pay app, one of the items was a box of Jungle oats. Left it in the grocery cupboard, the next morning when my wife opened the cupboard, she noticed that there worms crawling around. She was in shock as to where would these come from, as she started taking out the groceries from the cupboard, she picked up the jungle oats box and noticed that these worms were falling out of this box. When we opened the box, the oats we noticed that the oats looked funny and there were some like cobwebs inside. You can only imagine the disgust we felt seeing this and also maggots falling out the bottom of the box. Now i have reported this to pick n pay consumer line and a day as passed and still no feedback. I have kept the box in a packet as proof however when i called the call centre, i was advised that their tat is 4 days. I find this utterly disappointing and i am truly disgusted that we had to endure this experience. Does pick n pay not inspect or check their goods before it is delivered to their customer. I would also like to know why are their T.A,T so long. Who is going to pay for the groceries that i had to throw away because of the disgusting maggots that was crawling on...do i need to go to social media sights just to get a response
