Lying to customers

The observatory store used to sell these coconut biscuits in a packet and we bought a packet before lockdown started and since then we've been going to the store to see if they have these biscuits but nothing. About 2 weeks ago I went to the manager (Ursula) who went to the bakery to ask about he biscuits and I was informed by her that it's coconut macaroons and she asked the bakery when they will be making again and told bakery to write down my name and number and she would get back to me when it's ready. Since then I have NOT heard from them and my husband was in the store and the bakery simply said it's discontinued!! Now why in the hell lie in the first place to my face telling me 3 times you going to make it and phone me when it's ready??? Pick n pay useless!!
