Long Ques and Manager Laughs

Yesterday I went to the PnP in the Jacaranda Shopping Centre which is my closest one. There were loads of customers and only 3 checkouts were open. The poor till staff were trying to be friendly but the customers were fed up, and all this while the manager and his wife / girlfriend were making jokes in the office. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!

Send the manager for customer service training or something.

No offence, but this is the same canned response that I got the last time when I complained about the same shop and long ques. I am rather going to make use of Checkers even though it is a bit further and a lot mor trouble for me to get to if this can not be resolved. Do you guys ever walk into PnP stores unannounced to see what is happening there? The PnP in Waverley Plaza has a LOT better service because it is a franchise store and not a normal Pick n Pay. :-(
