License Disc Renewal - Do not use this service

I signed up for the license disc renewal, attached all the docs and paid R. 1,947 at a Pick n Pay store in George on October 17th, within the grace period for a disc which expired end September.

I'm still waiting for the disc and cannot drive my car. I raised 2 support tickets and no response. I've emailed claim expert and no reply. I've tried calling several times and the line just goes to music with no response. In my opinion, this goes beyond incompetence. Is it not against the law to take someones money and then not deliver a service?

Worse, on checking with the Knysna municipality they told me they have received no payment for the disc and I'm now liable for a late payment penalty. I'm now looking for a full refund from Pick n Pay.
