Dear Pick 'n Pay Lakeside

After shopping at your store for more than a decade we've realised that we've never really thanked you for sacrificing so much time and effort to satisfy your shoppers. Management and staff are an amazing team of dedicated hard workers. Your friendliness, efficiency, and the sweet personal touches you add to make your customers shopping experience super-special, is really touching. One needs to shop there to understand what we're talking about. Not only is your store pleasantly organized, clean, neat, and tidy but each and everyone of you go out of your way to ensure that we receive first-rate service.

You're creative in your problem-solving, you have excellent work ethics, and your advice is reliable and trustworthy. Bless you. You make our lives so much easier with your unfailing comittment and co-operation... with you going the extra mile to try and assist us, your customers. Nothing is too much effort for you. Admittedly we're a tough crowd to please at times but we're impressed with your courtesy and diplomacy when handling matters, and how you manage to remain so calm and collected... and in control, irrespective of the situation.

We appreciate that you make it your mission to point out your items on sale if we happen to miss it. We're grateful when you order products for us that might not be available at your store... and if its urgent you'll "shop around" and collect it the same day from one of your other stores for us. Thank you for your advice on what products to use where - when we are faced with challenges in our household tasks...

We're so touched in the times that we've witnessed you all collecting monies amongst yourselves to buy get-well cards, or bouquets of flowers for your elderly customers, or for those who might have lost a beloved family member.

You are like one big, happy family. Omg(osh), your enthusiasm and friendliness is infectious. You are also so enthusiastic about everything, including special events... For example on Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Pick 'n Pay's birthday, etc we are reminded just how much Pick 'n Pay really cares about each and every customer, irrespective of race, age, or status.

Your build-up to the Rugby World Cup semi Final, and Final was amazing. Some of us don't even watch rugby but we were all so caught up in your enthusiasm - that we followed your advice and bought tons of meat on special - and we, friends and neighbours gathered to braai and watch rugby together.

We also appreciate that one of Pick 'n Pay's many aims is to align their discounts with special popular events.
