Let the customer come fix my mistakes
Hi, the day after I receive the PnP liquor store brochure, I walk into the store. I am a dream customer. I am there to buy the Jim Beam and get double points and be entered into the draw for a prize. The round bottle Robertson's wine is also an attraction at the price and points. But there is no Robertsons in the rack, but for a few small bottles of pink. A very, very friendly shop assistant find me some red elsewhere in a store. But no white. At the till I ask the lady where the tag for the Jim Beam is, as it is mentioned on the brochure - my entr?e for the draw. She ignores me. I spot the manager, and go to him. He doesn't know. How can we solve this, I ask. He suggests I return to the shop, but not before Thursday next week. I counter-suggest that he takes my number and let me know once he had done his research. He agrees. But he doesn't write down the number. I suggest he does it. He did. But after that - no response. So I write about this on their website, out of the public eye. A manager phones me end of last week. And promise he will get back to me. No word yet. Now this is becoming irritating. What do you think.
