Later and non delivery of items

I placed an online order for delivery with delivery slot 13:00-14:00 for a reason @ R75.00. The delivery took place after 16:00 @R50.00. Charged R75.00 for a R50.00 delivery time. Our company closes at 15:45 which means delivery took place after we closed. The person who was locking up allowed the delivery to be place in the storeroom instead of sending the delivery back. Big mistake. We have now found that some of the items on the invoice were never delivered. I've been told by the call centre it isn't Pick 'n Pay's problem as we didn't check the order. Maybe you should have delivered the order on time and not after closing time. Why insist on booking a delivery slot when you deliver whenever you want. Won't be shopping with Pick 'n Pay again but suppose you can afford to chase away the business we wanted to give you as there are many more customers that don't mind paying for something they never receive.
