Lack of Monitoring and Control

I don't know what exactly is going on with Pick n Pay and BP. So BP is 100 years old and is partnered with Pick n Pay and when you fill up you get a free model car but when I go to BP no one tells me you have to opt in to receive SMSes from Pick n Pay Smart Shopper. Heaven knows why Pick n Pay themselves haven't made this clear.

If I didn't go searching myself I probably wouldn't have known that little detail and I'm not surprised others don't know it. This is supposed to be a project that the 2 companies embarked on but apparently there's no oversight when it comes to communication with the customers as stakeholders.

Very disappointed in how this competition is handled and I'm surprised to see no one else is complaining, so maybe I'm in the wrong.
