LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE
I walked into to Pick 'n Pay at about 18.20 and finished shopping by 18.35. At 18.52 I wasstill waiting to pay for my purchases and the managers attitude was he has received complaints about the lack of service in the store. No apology was offered. This is a continuous problem at this branch even when they are not busy. They only have 4 tills open ant the staff just don't care. When I approached the manager he was sitting in his office despite having had complaints about lack of service earlier. I strongly feel that all the staff at this store needs to be replaced with fresh motivated staff. On Friday 4 September I was in the store at noon and once again the queues were going down the aisles as there were too few tills open. Staff in the store don't greet and are simply rude. They have no respect for customers and when asked a question the customer is lucky if acknowledged. The attitude is that the store is doing the customer a favour. This store trades until 20.00 daily but is a real disgrace to the Pick .n Pay brand. Is this because the staff are not paid sufficiently or is it because there is simply too little staff employed on each shift.
