Lack of concern from mangement re complaint

Visited Pick 'n Pay, like I do after work every day, to get groceries for supper only to find seven cashiers at tills but 3 of the seven were closed. Went to the manager at the raised up area and asked why they don't have an express checkout for those not paying for trolley loads of goods. His response was simply that they don't have one. Obviously! I know. I have been shopping in this store every day for ages. I then asked why there were not more tills open as they were all backing up. He just went back to his paperwork indifferently. I can understand staffing issues but cannot accept rudeness and disrespect toward the customer, I told the manager that he obviously does not care about his customers and again he looked up at me and then went back to his precious paperwork. Most of the staff at this branch are very helpful and friendly, but if the management at the top behave this way one wonders how long this will last.
