Joke of an online shopping experience
Back to back horrible experiences with a shop I've been supporting for ages. During this COVID-19 pandemic you would expect grocers (especially of this scale) to stimulate their customers to shop online where they can. Pick n Pay has made a pathetic effort at encouraging customers to do any sort of online shopping. Firstly half the items you buy online are not available in store. They promise you a refund within 24 hours for those items and no refund is made even a week after the initial order. When you come to collect your order (in which you are required to book an available time slot) it takes ages to have it ready for you. And to top it all off, they tell you they do not offer their promotional stickers for online purchases.
This is a store which has hundreds of people in and out everyday. I cannot imagine how many people have contracted Corona in their isles. It is their corporate social responsibility to mitigate the spread of disease by any possible means, but instead this is how they choose to conduct their business. Poor customer service, poor business processes and poor overall experience.
I'd much rather go shopping at Checkers or Spar from now on.
