Jean Crossing Store - terrible service and dangerous entrance
I shopped at the Jean Crossing outlet in Centurion on Friday 6 November. It was just after 9am, and although I was 2nd in the checkout queue, I had to wait more than 10mins to be served. Only 1 cashier on duty, and no packers. Eventually the queue behind me had more than 10 customers waiting. When I approached the manager he basically fobbed me off as if it wasn't his problem. I was exceptionally irate as I left the store. I was pushing a basket trolley in some haste as I was now running late. At the exit to the store the rubber matting has broken away in parts leaving a gap between the rubber and paving. As I pushed the trolley the front wheels got stuck in this gap and with the momentum the whole trolley fell over, and so did I. I fell hard, and apart from the loss of dignity a lady experiences when falling in public, I also have rather substantial bruising to various parts of my body. Not a single employee came to assist me, however 2 customers did and rightly said that it was disgusting that the rubber had not been replaced and had caused me to fall the way that I did. I would appreciate some feedback in this regard please.
However, this seems like a standard cut and paste reply - if you had taken the time to read my grievance in full the proper thing to have done would have been to enquire as to the nature and seriousness of the injuries I sustained and provide me proper feedback as to what remedial action will be taken at the store to prevent future injuries to customers. Is this really the way that Pick 'n Pay deals with cases like this? I have to say, I am very disappointed in your reply.

Siobhan
