Items that the price showed different

Hey

so I went to pick n pay and I went to buy a few items.

but I went to go an buy myself a storage unit and the prices showed that is was R109 when I came to the teller it was R249.99 and then I told the casher of pick n pays rules if you come at the till and the price is different it is free.

the manager didn't want to hear that and I bought 2 of this items.

the manager called the guy in that lane he was working that tag was suma gone and he said was never there.

I feel this is wrong and how can someone lie in your face like that
