Items on special not available in store

<p>I am a regular shopper at Pick n Pay Bonaero Park. I am utterly disappointed that they advertise specials in newspapers and huge banners outside their store, but then they do not have the items availble in-store. </p> <p>They have advertised since 23 February 2017, the chicken 8-piece star-packs at R30.99 p/kg. This is said to be valid until 1 March 2017.</p> <p>I have been in-store everyday since 25 February 2017, and not once were there staock available for this advertised special of teh chicken, Each day I am told that they do not have stock & that they are waiting for the truck to deliver. Even until today 1 March 2017, I have been instore early, and no chicken star-packs were on the shelves.</p> <p>This is false advertising, and a means to draw individuals to teh store, but at the end of the day it's a total waste of time, effort and petrol money. You as Pick 'n Pay should not advertise something that you cannot deliver to the consumer. You should be taken to the Consumer Protector.</p> <p>Now, after all my efforts, I am still without the chicken that I was hoping to purchase, and disgraced by this branch for their dismal level of service to us as the consumer. Now I have to settle for all teh expensive chicken prices in-store, which is normally more than R40 p/kg.
