Is Sanitizing not the Norm?

Visited Mulbarton branch this afternoon. Queued for a cashier, and when she was done with client, hung back expecting her to sanitise her work area - as other retailers do. She chatted to the lady who was packing for her. I then got her attention, asked whether I could come through - yes. Asked if she was going to first sanitise - "well if you want me to". Surely it should be protocol? Got attitude from her thereafter.

Wow - a standard, stock reply from Pick n Pay. What a disappointment. No wonder they chose to reply privately. I expected far more from them. Shows you the huge difference between talk the talk and walk the talk!
