Is Pick 'n Pay Phishing now??

After receiving countless marketing email from Pick 'n Pay and unsubscribibg from each and every one of them I sent the message below to their customer support department.

Feb 8, 22:48 CAT: I have unsubscribed to Pick N Pay newsletters and various other marketing countless times and I still receive this unwanted spam. Take my email address off every marketing database with immediate effect.

The response from Lorelle Londt is as follows: Good day *****,

Please be advised, before we can OPT you out of email communication, please provide us with the below details

1. Name and surname on profile: 2. Postal /Physical address on profile: 3. Land line number on profile: 4. Cell number on profile: 5. Email address on profile: 6. Id number:

We value you as a Pick n Pay customer and are committed to improve continually on our service levels.

What does any of that information have to do with unsubscribing me from email marketing spam? This look suspiciously like a Phishing email.

I have warned Lorelle Londt in my reply email that any other marketing and/or advertising email that I receive from Pick 'n Pay will be in contravention of the ECT act of 2011.

Pick 'n Pay, stop sending me email that I did not ask for and have tried to unsubscribe from. It is literally that simple.
