*******ion/ ***** through Pick 'n Pay, Lephalale Mall by TymeBank

This review is serious. It is about money being ****** which was processed at Pick 'n Pay Lephalale Mall, Shop 56, Cnr Nelson Mandela, Chris Hani Ave, &, Lephalale, 0555.

Dear Hello Peter Admin.

Thank you for receiving this communication.

Two and a half months ago, my 80-year old father on pension, opened a TymeBank account at Pick 'n Pay, Lephalale Mall to transfer money at a more economic rate than the other mainstream bank/s. He opened this account at Pick 'n Pay in Lephalale Mall, Limpopo. Address: Shop 56, Corner Nelson Mandela & Chris Hani Ave. Telephone number: ***

The money he deposited before transfer was pretty much his last cash, purchasing a small vehicle for him and my mother (married 60 years), and living in Mookgophong. When he left Lephalale, there was R10 000 in the account.

Approximately two weeks ago, he received notification from Tymebank on his cellphone that someone is trying to buy R3000.00 worth of air-time. He immediately notified them this was not him, so multiple attempts immediately took place to try and purchase airtime with his account via cellphone banking. it is obviously not my father's detail. (public NON-RICA cellphone number - +2**********). The attempts were reversed more than once. These attempt were made by a man, Mr. Thembeka Mthembu who's name-detail I received from the police a few days later, after just one telephone call. His cell-phone info is actually on the bank statement my father requested! My father immediately assured TymeBank via telephone that it is not him making the transactions, and rushed to the police station to write an affidavit which he immediately sent to TymeBank.

Then, suddenly while all this communication back and forth were taking place, my fathers' internet banking password was changed without his consent or knowledge, Tymebank sending him OTP transaction numbers for all these transactions without stopping the *****! The black person who hacked my father's account then successfully stole R 9 900.00 of the R10K out of my dad's account by transferring it to another number belonging to a M. Tarzan "Junior" Gcaba, another name I received from the police (+2**********). I called that number which is ALSO on the bank statement, and the ***** who received my father's money, actually answered!! I pretended it was the wrong number I dialed.

All this information was immediately supp**** to Tymebank via email, but they sent my father two emails to advise him they were not going to refund his money because, for all practical reasons, it was HIS FAULT for them *****ing his money!! He is 80 years old and a Christian his entire life. He doesn't know internet banking and have zero knowledge of these two black men who stole his money!!!

So, TymeBank distances themselves from their responsibility to refund my father. At the same time, they have done no forensic investigation into how possibly Pick 'n Pay may have a ******* employee, transacting *****ulently - or someone in TymeBank robbing a client of his money!

Tymebank have assured my father that they take no responsibility, so my father on pension has been ****** of his money without recourse. This is unacceptable on so many levels, and I will not leave this here. Too many people are complacent about this bull****, and accept that this new South Africa is a *******ion Hub. Well, I don't...I will take this as far as it goes through all legal means.

Thank you kindly.

Hi (Laura)

Another day went by with zero response to me or my father. We are not going away. In actual fact, I believe I should carry on communicating with Carte Blanche (Laura) regarding this.
