insult by staff member

Was following a queue of 5 people @ the fast food dept when one of the store employee went straight to the front of every one.I enquired why is she doing that and her response was people that need chips follow a different queue and i should improve my reading skills whilst pointing to some note.I voiced my displeasure about her launguage and tone.she continued with the insult and indicated that even if i were to report to the manager nothing will happen to her.i continued to report to the manager who asked a Mr Byron to let me point out the staff member ,which we did.the staff member then followed me to the till point and continued with the verbal insults to the dismay of all.I REPORTED to head office.the manager called me after an hour and said she reprimanded the staff member and thats where it ends..M not happy as i feel the sanction (if any) is appropriate.
