INJURY ON DUTY

I am very disappointed to how pick 'n pay is handling the situation of a staff member who fell off a counter top because of hanging of brand match posters, he hurt his arm and his arm broke, he received injury on duty forms,but he was so in pain nobody drove him to hospital or called an ambulance,the staff member drove himself and suffered for weeks with the injury, he is still receiving physio, when the physio gave a letter to the store manager that he needs to only work early shifts till he is recovered the store manager refused, like really? Is this how pick and pay treat there staff? The staff member was booked off work for a month and a half. The staff member had a lot of pain and suffering and not once did pick and pay head office hr call him and ask him about the claims form,nobody seems to care and i will definitely take this further because the staff member thinks that no justice is being done.
