Infection risk at Pick n Pay Meerensee

My whole family's hands got sprayed today (about 12-12h30) by the PnP Meerensee Richards Bay store's security with a substance that was definitely not sanitiser. Our hands smelled horrible. When talking to the store manager at the time, he was surprised to smell our hands (I offered that he smell it and he smelled it...). He said the security mixed the sanitiser, after which I asked him what they use to guide them in mixing the life saving mixture... he then said they do not mix but just pour out of a container... So I am really confused. I asked that we can wash our hands and he directed us to the staff toilets. There we found that there was no soap in the dispensers (really... how clean are the staff's hands???) and we requested soap. He provided a new Lifebuoy bar for us to wash our hands. There was no method to dry our hands and he offered that we use the toilet paper at the toilet. We passed this opportunity and walked out of the bathroom with wet hands to resume our shopping. When we left the shop, the manager showed me the bottle of raw sanitiser. I was not interested as this was clearly not well controlled, and in fact an opportunity for gross mismanagement at best, not to even speak of the risk of deliberately contaminating the liquid they spray on customer's hands. With more people dying from Covid-related exposure, I am surprised that stricter measures are not taken at the sanitiser points. I for one will not again allow any shop to spray me with a substance, and will sanitise using my own good quality sanitiser before entering the shop. I also did not enjoy the manager thinking the whole thing is a joke ( as he shared a comment and a smile with a colleague while bringing the sanitiser to us for inspection). He denied that he was making a joke about me. After I expressed my dissatisfaction and left the shop, he exclaimed "enjoy your day" in a sarcastic fashion. I asked him not to be sarcastic about this whole thing, and he claimed that he is not, and that it is Christmas, therefore wishing me a good day... (strange manner). I wished he would have been more accepting of the fact that his store is managed badly from a hygiene point of view, rather than trying to convince me that all is in order. What will PnP do in order to ensure that this hygiene issue is taken seriously, and not left open to mismanagement and subsequent misconduct, subconscious or conscious?
