Incorrect shelf pricing, and management attitude stinks
Not the first time this happens at this pick n pay, (Linton Grange, Port Elizabeth) I went to do my shopping and bought 4 items, and 2 out of that four scanned a higher price at the till than advertised, and when i said something, the manager tells me in my face that the towel i took, which was under the price tag on the shelf of R10, was not the one for that price, so i ask her then to bring the one for R10 if i took the wrong one, and the one she brings also scans a higher price (R15), only then she discounts the difference while giving me ugly looks. Then i pay for my groceries, and upon receiving my slip i notice another item they charged higher than advertised, a two litter fanta pine. I then went to a different manager to show him this in the hopes that he will rectify the matter and correct the advertised prices, and when he saw this, he took out his wallet and gave me the difference, which was 50c. how insulting!!! He, instead of managing the problem as a manager, decides to insult me in my face by giving me his 50c So anyway all you people shopping there (pick n pay Linton Grange), do yourself a favor and scrutinize your slip to their advertised prices, cause what is happening there is complete *******, and the reaction by managers, both of them shows that they know about this and therefore are complicit.
