incorrect and misleading pricing
On Wednesday 20 December 2017 I took container of Himalayan salt at the shelf at Pick n Pay Rhodesdene in Kimberley, which was priced R16.99, and when I got to the till, the price was R25.99, and I refered the teller to the shelf where I took, who then reakised that the price was indeed R16.99, and took the complain to the manager, John Ziellie, who refused to sell me the salt for the price I saw it for, and instead told me that the barcodes are not the same. I told him that as a customer, I do not have time to compare barcodes, when I get to the shelf, I look at the price and decide whether I take the product or not. I further told him that it is not my fault that someone did not do their job properly, which then becomes misleading to me as a customer. John still refused to sell me the salt for the price I saw, and told me that I can even contact the head office if I am not happy about his response.
