Incorrect advertising and subsequent incorrect pricing

I have frequented Pick 'n Pay for many many years. However, according to what I have noticed, things have been going downhill.

For the past three weeks, the machines at the voucher kiosks always seem to be either out of order or no ink in the printers or no paper in the printer or paper jams in the printer. This morning was no exception - I got a printed sheet with nothing on it.

Furthermore, In this morning's Beeld newspaper, Pick 'n Pay advertised 2-ply Baby Soft Toilet Paper (9 rolls) X 2 for R60. When we enquired at the store, we were told that the adverti*****t was incorrect and they (sic) (don't know who) made a mistake. We were further told that Pick 'n Pay apologised by means of a sticker on the shelf. Pick 'n Pay, shame on you for misleading the clients.

I have also sent Pick 'n Pay an e-mail enquiring about their magazine and the fact that I can never get it. This was some time back and up until today have received nothing from them. Not an acknowledgement of receipt, etc.

I am very very disappointed in the service I have experienced from Pick 'n Pay these past few months and will think twice before going there again as I now realise that for them it is not about customer care anymore and I would rather spend my hard earned money at a store where us, the customers, still count.
