*********** staff
Yesterday I went to my local pick n pay in Port Elizabeth Atrium, not one of the cleanest though, but the problem I had was with the staff lack of banking knowledge, the supervisor insisted that I must swipe again and for items that I have showed her went off my bank account with the assurance that it will be reversed after midnight because they had a decline message on their side. After much debate she said that if this don't happen I must come back to rectify it. The problem I have with this is that I paid twice for the purchases and must spend again on fuel getting there to sort out a problem that was not my default. Can pick n pay pay me back R75 for my inconvenience because a mere apology will not work for my car at the fuel pump. Then the supervisor still have the presumptuousness to tell me that I recieved a R5 off for my next purchase. It is acts and incompetence like this that makes me rarely go into a pick n pay local because of staff that is thinking customers are idiots. I will go there this morning and most probably they will not even know who is hello Peter let alone the reputation this kind of stupidity it is causing the pick n pay brand.
