Incompetency to deal with an injury in store
I injured myself nearly a year ago in Pick n Pay Kemptongate. This was caused due to a loose tile I've stepped on. It cracked and a sharp point stabbed through my shoe into my foot. I pulled it out and was bleeding quite some. The merchandiser went to get a "first aider" Long story short, we filled out an Incident Report whereupon I had to go several times to ask the manager what the outcome was. My foot was in distress for a long time as well as I broke a good pair of shoes. The manager and I was on good speaking terms but he lacks in communication. After about 6 months I mailed head office and the area manager called. I said just say sorry. I don't want to claim. All I need is a voucher to show you are sorry and i need shoes amongst other. Their phone just rings all the time. I am so disappointed in the way this was handle and the time frame. This is unacceptable. This is Pick n Pay Kemptongate, Kemptonpark, Manager Vusi
