Identity theft

On December 16, 2018 a purchase was made on my husband's Pick n Pay account without our knowledge. We learned about the purchases that were made on December 17, 2018 and we got documentation from the police station stating that the purchases were not made by my husband. We ten submitted the documents to Pick n Pay RCS on the same day December 17, 2019. We were then advised that the purchases was made in Johannesburg and we do not reside in Johannesburg. We live in Cape Town. RCS then advised us that the investigation takes 21 days. It is now February 2019 and the matter is still not resolved. My husband's credit score is being affected by RCS, they keep on saying that they have a huge backlog and will get back to us. Please can you advise on what we could do.
