I shop at PnP Plattekloof often, as does my wife

I shop at PnP Plattekloof often, as does my wife. I DO NOT use PNP app, and I will not be compelled to by ANY store or retailer. All my store loyalty cards are stored on my Google Pay app, and that's the way it will remain. Suffice to say, I don't carry a wallet, only my phone. ALL other stores I go to, such as Checkers and Woolworths, simply scan their barcode from the stored loyalty card on my Google app. It couldn't be simpler. Along comes PnP, who somehow feel they can reinvent the wheel. They insist that I MUST download their app (never gonna happen) or I should tap in my own barcode on their "new" customer keypads (again, never gonna happen). Rather than focusing their attention on improving the customer experience, they instead go from had to worse. Yet another own goal from PnP. I simply walked out of the store and into the grateful arms of Woolsworths, just a few doors away, for my pre-Springbok game purchases. No skin off my nose. Customers have options, thankfully. Goodbye PnP.
