I need my provident fund

I resigned from pick n pay in March and iv been struggling to claim my provident fund. Everytime I call the head office I am told I need to speak to my ex manager, what does he know about provident funds? Yes the resignation letter was sent to him if you want it then why not ask me to forward you what was sent? Can I get this matter resolved, it's urgent!!
