HYPERMARKET BAR CODING
<p>Shopping at Greenstone Hypermarket is an aggravation. The bar coding discrepancies come up just about every time I shop. I haven’t had the inclination the last 2 times to complain about R1 difference. i.e. charged R1 over the barcode in both instances. Time before last it was R2, but only noticed when I got home. Then yesterday there was a R3 discrepancy on avos. This was the end now so I complained and was given the R3 back. On enquiring why not double as is the policy, I was told not on fruit and veg! So they don’t even honour their own policy. This is not about getting money back as I shop by price so this is unacceptable.</p> <p>After that went to an ordinary supermarket and bought double the amount as I found many items at better prices. And no barcoding issues. It burns me, the fact that a hypermarket is not cheaper than an ordinary supermarket. So it can’t be a surprise why I shop less and less at Hypermarket. I suppose I'll get the usual reply but I want this to be fixed for good.</p>
