How Pick n Pay is happy to take our money but not so happy to protect us.

A friend of mine was at Pick and Pay Vaal Mall this Saturday, she is still shaken and can't comprehend how the situation was handled by the security staff there and the inconsiderate attitude of the store manager.

Inside the store, her phone and money was pulled out of her bag by ******, when she realised this she went to the Security station and they went to the CCTV to confirm where exactly they managed to take her belongings out of her bag. A few minutes later they came out and told her that these people have been doing it for a while. And they know them but the camera's are not clear.

They had the odesity to tell her to leave her phone at home when she goes out and use a small phone, they also added that even if she goes to the cops she don't have concrete evidence.

As for the so called store manager he couldn't give a ****. He could have at least shown some remorse, **** a stupid apology for the incident but no!!! He couldn't care less. She was with her baby boy who's 9 month. I am also disgusted and still in disbelief. This just shows that even if she had saw and tried to fight back Pick n Pay would have not cared. Maybe it's cause it was not their property. If these people had just ****** a small chocolate bar... they would have been arrested and found. The sad part is that staff members suggested that they trace the people via the malls security and the security guards on duty said it would not help, what if they changed their disguise cause they know them and they are always changing their loo****
