How annoying!

Yesterday morning I went to my nearest branch (Berea) to purchase an Ethnic 3-piece overall set which was advertised at R90, valid until 21 January. I found no stock and on making inquiries, I was told that they have not received stock as yet. They offered to call me when stock arrives which they said may be by Wednesday. As I needed the set immediately, I said I would go to the next closest branch (Musgrave). On arrival, I found some sets marked R199,99 and took one thinking that at least they had stock. The cashier told me it was the above price and this was confirmed by the Supervisor. The stock advertised had also not been received by them. On querying this with the Manager, he confirmed that there has been a problem with the suppliers and that he would call me when stock arrives. Why advertise items if they will not be available to customers? I went out of my way to make the purchase and am feeling absolutely frustrated with Pick 'n Pay as they are not a fly by night company.
