Horrible, inhumane, Worst service ever.

My mom went shopping at the pick n pay Mdantsane city. She wanted to buy the take x4 vegetables for R100 special/combo. The combo included sweet potato, butternut, gemsqaush, onion, potatoes, betroot or carrot and you create your own combo. You choose 4. So she created her own combo. When she got to the till it was scanning more than R100 so she asked why and the cashier just told her “I don’t know”. My mom told this was the combo and it’s R100. The lady got up and went and confirmed and they said yes everything she has chosen is part of the R100 for four but she does not know why Gem squash is not scanning so they can’t give her the special. My poor 60 year old mom asked but you just confirmed can’t you get someone to help you with the till. She called the supervisor who was extremely rude and not helpful at all. She just told my mom that she does not know why the white mans things are scanning something else and unfortunately there is nothing they can do with a white mans technology. After making my old mom wait there they did not help her , they just gave her back her R100. No sorry , no trying. Just attitude and rudeness. I am super disappointed and extremely annoyed at how my mother was treated because they know nothing will be done to them. She unfortunately could not get their names as they were not even wearing name badges. The service at the pick n pay mdantsane is revolting, this is not the first time. The people on the floor are more helpful. The cashiers and supervisors are the WORST. She took a taxi paid R 36 to go and buy her vegetables and she came back empty handed, crying because of how those young girls treated her in store. Where is atleast compassion and humility for pensioners. ? Cause service is something they don’t know.
