HORRIBLE EERSTERIVER BRANCH

This review is for Pick n Pay in Eersteriver where we don't deserve fresh products from a clean store. Instead we get a lackluster experience in general. I just hate even setting my foot in that store, I have to drive to more "affluent" areas where shops are cleaner, fresher and a pleasure to shop at. Unfortunately this particular branch is right around the corner from my workplace, so we are not spoiled for choice here. Today was just the last straw for me, buying 3 mini beef pies and the filling smells sour and horrid. It puts me totally off. The last time I bought (cape malay) koeksister, omw what a disaster......dry and hard. Almost everytime myself or colleagues buys there its sub standard. The store was recently "revamped" , but honestly I think the filth was just moved from one corner to the next. Yes most people living in Eersteriver is "poor", have no transport or choice as to where they can shop for food, but do we deserve this kind of nonsens...NO! Its still our money we choose to spend there and you do need us in order to keep your doors open, show us some respect by providing us with better food, fresher bakes etc etc. I don't know where you get your cake and koeksister, dognuts and eclair recipes, but its NOT GOOD AT ALL.. Id much rather spoil myself once a month and buy expensive, fresh , delicious cakes from limnos or even other small bakeries, but pick a pay eersteriver, its a NO from me. You think nothing of your customers, we are nothing but our hard earned money. Things needs to change. They can say we live in the ghetto, but why do we always have to prove them right?
