Horrible

I have been a loyal Pick n Pay customer even after the two separate incidents of expired goods I bought. This time around I am at a different pick n pay buying a few items for lunch. I bought a chocolate eclair from the bakery at PnP Willowbridge. Took a bite, not sure what made look at bottom of the eclair and saw that the thing is mouldy not a little but a big part of it. Went back to the store with the item, spoke with the manager and all he focused on was my refund... exactly as the previous manager. Keep in mind this is a RTE (ready to eat) product being sold to customers/kids! How does such a giant retailer with all the resources and trained staff let this happen? This is unacceptable! I bought a coffee and sandwich deal, the sandwich expired 3 days prior, i politely asked the lady if they are fresh made and she said yes. I bought a no name wholebird some time later at the same store only to it was rotten, not slightly off, rotten... I got refunded which was pathetic because dinner was ruined, fast foods had to be ordered as supper! You should be an example of a trusted brand, we pay for everything we take in your damn stores. Do not treat your customers like trash. A kid could have eaten the eclair without looking at the bottom. Somebody is getting paid a salary to make sure everything checks out.
