High Festive Season Price Hikes

<p>PnP Hyper, </p> <p> </p> <p>today we did our monthly shopping. Usually spending around R2000 on essentials. Somehow, today we managed to spend R3000 and we purchased almost exactly the same items as usual or even less. Knorr Gravy prices were hiked up by R4 and Olive Oil by R40! These were just a few of the ridiculous pushed up prices we encounted. Some "Low Price" items were the usual price or slightly more then usual. How is that possible? Consumers are suffering and some how you feel it is right to hike your prices to ensure you make an extra buck over the festive season. Bonuses seem to be a thing of the past for most people these days and taking advantage of this time of year is utter unacceptable. </p> <p> </p> <p>I am truly disappointed in this blatant disregard for the consumer and their empty pockets(including mine!!) </p>
