Harassment over bank statements

On Friday the 1st of December 2017 I was approached by a pick 'n pay staff member at clear water mall, who said that I could now use my shopper card to buy food with points earned, they just wanted my details and that I would be contacted. I got repeated phone calls asking for my last 3 months bank statements. When I asked what they needed them for, they said to open a pick 'n pay credit card. I explained to the lady that I was never made aware that I was applying for a credit card. I was told it was for using points to buy food, and I confirmed that I wanted the application deleted. The entire week I have been receiving countless emails and texts wanting my banking details. regardless of me texting them back and contacting them telling them to stop harassing me for my banking details, they still continue. I now refuse to shop at pick 'n pay. I hope this will make other people aware of there con artist tricks.
