Hair colour product one year expired

Yesterday (31st March 2015) I bought a Colour B4 colour remover for my hair after going to 4 stores (this was the 4th) and seeing the barcodes on the selves but no product. <br> At home I mixed half the product and while the product is on my hair the box falls and I see \BEST BEFORE APRIL 2014"<br> as quickly as I can I rinse the product off as instructed to see my hair brittle and broken (this product is not meant to damage your hair). So I still have half of the mixture sitting in the box<br> <br> In all honesty if it was out by a month or two I could understand. This is disgusting.
